Far-UVC devices for every point where contamination enters

Every UV222® device runs a filtered Ushio Care222® module at 222 nm and is designed to work with people in the room. What changes between them is where they mount, how much area they cover and how they are sealed.

In the room

Fixtures that run continuously in an occupied space. The choice between them is mounting and ceiling height, not performance: the lamp is the same. A site study sets the positions and the duty cycle so the room stays inside the EU exposure limit for 222 nm.

At the cleanroom door

Roughly 80% of cleanroom excursions originate with the operators themselves. The Booth treats the gowned operator before entry to Grade A/B; the Step-On treats the soles of their footwear — the point a sticky mat never reaches.

Between zones

Material transfer is the other route contamination takes into a clean zone. Both units decontaminate what passes through them with light, leaving no residue and generating no particles, so ISO 14644 classification is unaffected. They reduce the need for chemical disinfection at the transfer point.
